HONEYMOON
Our beekeeping unit consists of as many bee groups as possible. By improved beehives we mean:
STAGE 1 - KING
We follow a specific improvement program with the main purpose of producing excellent genetic material through the selected kingship.
Basic selection criteria are:
Honey production
Disease resistance
Consolidating behavior
Aggressiveness
Overwintering
Signature
Offspring-Development
STAGE 2 - ROYAL CELLS
Evaluation and sorting of royal cells. 1.6cm cells have been shown to grow mostly small queens, weighing up to 180mg. Shape also plays an important role. Wrong, very elongated cells are the defective ones and we destroy them.
STAGE 3 - CREATION OF BRANCHES
In the last stage the offshoots are created only by selected and
strong bees.

Overwintering branches with a capacity of 5 frames with 2-3 broods (or a larger capacity bee) from the beginning of March until the middle of March, depending on the weather conditions.
From the beginning of April to the middle of April, a bee swarm with a capacity of 4 frames with 2 broods open and closed with the queens of 2017
Branches of 2018 from the beginning of May.
In the end there are videos from our work.
BEES
What is bee parcel and how is it used:
The philosophy of the bee is a box of cheap construction with
suitable specifications (ventilation, space, etc.) for shipments by transport
companies, post office etc.
The size of the bee is configured according to its requirements
customer.
BEEKEEPING WITHOUT FRAMES
It consists only of bees, with or without a queen, and its weight
population ranges from 900-1500gr.
In most cases it is used independently for creation
new offshoot in your own hive
BEEKEEPING WITH FRAMES
Bee (ready branch) with a capacity of 4 frames, of which
2 frames are offspring plus the queen.
BEEKEEPING TO HELP BEES
They consist of offspring and population frames.
They are intended to support the weak bees of the apiary
your.
They can also be used to support your bees with
intended to be productive (2 weeks) before nectar secretion.

The bees are sent to all of Mainland Greece and the islands by arrangement.
